MODIS to watch for ice Empty MODIS to watch for ice

If you go to the MODIS Rapid Response link at the bottom of the GTIYC Ice Reports page you will probably be able to watch winter descend on us and see the lakes freeze as their color changes from black to gray. We were able to watch the ice and snow retreat this spring and we should be able to see the process reverse.
