Local Lake ice

Lake Skegemog is finally frozen. It has not been sailed yet. It is being fished and is about 90% clear. There is a large hole to the NW of the launch and the river mouth is still open for quite a ways. Although it is being fished it has not been "checked"by local sailors!
Venture out carefully!
There has been a report that Burt Lake is frozen, also unchecked. Big ice!
Lake Missaukee has been checked. Snow over slushy crust and Not Sailable!
Houghton still has soft wet out areas and is snow covered.
Birch lake is locked in but also un checked and soft around the edges.
Charlevoix and Elk are still open.
Keep an eye out for ice as the Central regionals are going to be looking for ice for the 14th of January.
